Ancient Roman Theatre

The Roman theater is one of the most famous monuments in Alexandria, and while amphitheaters spread in different countries such as Greece, Italy and Turkey during the era of the Romans, the Roman amphitheater in Alexandria is the original living example of the attractiveness of this architecture. The theater was distinguished by its huge design, which included an amphitheater, a parade ground, and a huge number of columns that stood tall surrounding the amphitheater building, which could accommodate nearly a thousand people, and various artistic and lyrical performances were held in it.
