Dar Al-Saraya is a Jordanian antiquities museum dating back to the Ottoman era in the Levant, specifically to the mid-nineteenth century, when it was established as a castle above the southern tip of Irbid Hill. The museum consists of seven halls, six of which form part of the original Ottoman building consisting of a group of rooms surrounding an open courtyard, and the exhibits were distributed in three large halls according to the chronology of the stages of civilization of the internationally approved Jordanian antiquities, and this museum is also part of a multifunctional building that It was used over the years for several purposes, including its use as a royal palace, and as a prison as well.
