Franz Liszt Memorial Museum

The Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum and Research Center was inaugurated in September 1986. Liszt was the founding president of the Academy of Music in Budapest and spent several months each year in the city until his death in 1886; He has taught the most talented piano students, and his last official residence was on the first floor of the old Academy of Music building, which has housed the Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum since 1986.
