Galapatha Rajamaha Viharaya
Located near the famous Pentara River, Galapata Raja Maha Viharaya is an ancient Buddhist temple famous for its stone walkway decorated with 'Nari Latha' motifs from the Kandyan period and rocky outcrop bearing inscriptions dating back to the 12th century. It is also believed that the temple housed the sacred tooth relic of Sri Anubuda Maha Kassyapa Araha (Sri Anubuddha Maha Kassyapa Araha) within its premises.
