Gorelnik Gorge

The Gorelnik Gorge is one of the most picturesque and easily accessible places in Almaty, and it is very ideal for hiking in the mountains and breathing fresh air. To reach it, you have to go to the Medeo ice rink, then go up to the dam and continue for 1.5 km along the way towards Shymbulak, then turn right, where you will find the entrance to the valley behind a hunting house, where you can see the famous Gorelnik Falls.
