Gorky Park
Gorky Park is the oldest garden in Minsk, which was established in 1800 AD under the name City Gardens. The park got its current name in honor of the Soviet era writer in 1936 AD. Originally designed after a classic English garden, the hugely popular public space has undergone many transformations over the years. Today it is geared toward children although it is frequented by people of all ages, home to a theme park complete with a 56-metre Ferris wheel, mini observatory, planetarium and indoor skating rink.
