Museum of World Insects and Natural Wonders

The International Museum of Insects and Natural Wonders is the beloved work of Mr. Manoop and his wife, Mrs. Rampa Rattanarithikul, who have been collectors of natural wonders for more than 50 years. Ratana is a world leader in mosquito research and has contributed nearly 500 mosquito species to the global record, while her husband is an expert on malaria. The walls of their small, multi-storey museum are covered with glass frames filled with pin-up insects of all kinds including stick insects, beetles, butterflies and more. Each of the screens is annotated with scholarly information and personal observations.
