Prachuap Bay

Prachuap Bay is an 8 km wide bay located on the western side of the Gulf of Thailand off the city of Prachuap Khiri Khan. It is open to the east and bounded by steep limestone outcrops forming a peninsula to the north at Khao Ta Mong Lai and to the south at Khao Lum Muak. There are four large islands and a number of small, oddly shaped islands in the bay area, and visitors can observe a variety of lifestyles of the local people in various places such as the fishermen's village, shops, hotels, government offices, parks and other entertainment sites bordering the bay.
