Qasr al-Pasha, also known as Radwan Castle and Napoleon Castle, is one of the most important monuments in Gaza. It was previously a large palace. It was initially built by the Mamluk Sultan Zahir Baybars in the middle of the thirteenth century, and it was greatly expanded in the Ottoman period, specifically in the century seventeenth. It has now been turned into an archaeological museum that tells the history of the civilizations that passed through it.
