Santa Clara – Santa Clara is one of the oldest ornate churches in Bogota. Built in 1968, it was acquired by the government and is now operated as a museum featuring paintings by some of Colombia’s most distinguished Baroque artists. The church was once part of a Franciscan convent but it was demolished in the early 20th century. The walls of the museum are completely covered with 148 paintings, in addition to statues of saints, and interactive panels available in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
