The obelisk is installed on a wide octagonal platform and decorated with four bronze wreaths placed on huge cubic shapes, which are symbols of the four fronts that participated in the liberation of Belarus From the Nazi occupiers, and at the bottom of the obelisk there is a bronze sword covered with a wreath of laurel as a symbol of victory. The huge bonfire is lit every year to celebrate this great day.
