Sabin Balasa Frescoes Gallery – The Sabine Bălaşa Gallery of Wall Paintings, also known as the “Hall of the Lost Steps”, is located in the palace of Alexandru Ioannina Cuza University in Iaşi. His works included this space in the map of international art exhibitions, as his 19 murals, which were designed between 1968 and 1978, reflect the spirit, history and poetry of the Romanian people, and cover about 300 square meters of the main building of the university.

Union Museum – The Etihad Museum is housed in a small new palace built in the early nineteenth century, which between 1859 and 1862 served as the royal residence of Alexandru Ioan Cuza; The ruling prince who unified the Romanian principalities into a single state in 1859. Later, during World War I, the palace also hosted King Ferdinand after his withdrawal from Bucharest. The actual museum was opened in 1959 on the occasion of the centenary of the Romanian state. The museum’s collection includes historical documents and original artifacts of Prince Alexander John Cuza and his family.
