Abdal Bridge
The Abdal Bridge, which preserved its original structure among the bridges of Bursa, was built on the Nilufer River in 1669 AD. The bridge was distinguished by a stone design that includes arches for support and huge bases. These bases, made of cut stones, with a width ranging between 2.60 and 3.60 meters, consist of triangular prismatic shields that protrude according to the direction of the water flow, and support the walls in the opposite direction. Today, the bridge attracts attention with the beauty and accuracy of its details.
