It is a museum that was built in honor of the prince of poets, Ahmed Shawky, in Cairo, Egypt, and is located specifically on the Nile Corniche. The museum includes many of Ahmed Shawky's valuable works, as there are about 332 books inside the museum on the ground floor, in addition to many manuscripts of his poetry in his handwriting. There are also in the museum works attributed to the singer and composer Mohamed Abdel-Wahhab, who was introduced to art by Ahmed Shawky, who presented works written by Ahmed Shawky. There is also a library in the museum containing recordings of a singing performance by Abdel Wahhab in the presence of Ahmed Shawky.
