Akköprü
Akubru is a distinctive historical bridge located in the city of Ankara. It was built in 1222 AD by the governor, at a site where the old Baghdad trade route passes. It is one of the rare historical works that have survived to this day. The bridge was built of cut basalt stone, and there are 7 pointed arches mostly made of cut Ankara stone. Some foreign stones and ancient artifacts were used in the vicinity.
