Al-Khuraiba is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in the city of Al-Ula, as it was the capital of the Lihaniya Kingdom during the first millennium BC. Today, it consists of several stone buildings and a circular stone basin known locally as the "camel's mahlab", in addition to thousands of inscriptions, ancient artworks, and a group of tombs. Carved in sandstone, the most famous are the Lion Tombs.
