Description of the place
Al-Serkal Mosque is the main mosque in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. It is not only one of the newest mosques in the Buddhist-majority country, but also the largest. It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister in 2015 during a ceremony attended by more than a thousand people. It is distinguished by its design in the Ottoman style, then its walls are lined with tiles. pink and turquoise, and its ceilings are decorated with stunning mosaics.
