Al Tayebat International City

The Museum of the International City of Tayebat for Science and Knowledge is the largest historical edifice in Jeddah and Saudi Arabia. It was established by Abd al-Raouf Hassan Khalil. The construction of this museum continued for a very long period of not less than fifteen years, as it includes many aspects of culture as well as the wonderful Saudi civilization in addition to to some traditional crafts. This museum consists of many wings, and among these wings is the general culture wing, and this wing contains many wonderful heritage wall paintings, and these paintings are gradual from ancient to modern, so the museum presents paintings that date back to the Stone Age, through different eras, and up to the modern era. As for the second wing, it is the wing of Islamic civilization and contains many Islamic monuments and artifacts that date back to the previous 15 century. Among the most important things that this wing includes are manuscripts and Qurans. In addition to the Saudi pavilion, it displays the environment and building style of many different countries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other different pavilions.
