Alahan Monastery

Elhan Monastery is the ruins of a large church in the vicinity of Mut, which is believed to be a "pilgrimage center" for Christians and is called "Hagia Sophia Mersin". And since Christianity was not an official religion at that time and worship was secret, it was preferred that the temples be in places out of sight and difficult to reach, and this explains the reason for the geographical remoteness of this monastery, which is characterized by a unique architectural design, reflecting the development of architectural styles And out of the ordinary, where the arches, columns and crowns, which still exist to this day.
