Alanya Ataturk House Museum
On the eighteenth of February, 1935, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk visited Alanya, and during his visit, he stayed in this house, which its owner donated to the Ministry of Culture, as the house was restored, furnished, and opened to visitors as a museum, in the name of the Ataturk House Museum in Alanya, in the year 1987. This museum displays personal belongings, photographs, telegrams sent by Atatürk to the people of Alanya, and other historical documents, on the ground floor of the three-storey building, which reflects the characteristics of Turkish architecture in the nineteenth century, and in the rooms of the second floor The features of a typical Alanya house are preserved with all its features, and samples of ethnographic elements specific to the region are displayed.
