Alaska Native Heritage Center
Alaska has a rich heritage, being home to no less than 11 indigenous cultures with their own languages, traditions and stories, and the vast cultural history of this region is fully presented at the Alaska Indigenous Heritage Center. The center was founded in 1999 with the aim of creating a historical archive of some of the remaining indigenous cultures in the United States, and it has definitely succeeded, as more than 100,000 tourists visit it each year to learn about the indigenous culture, its diversity and richness. Among the exhibits, visitors will find statues, clothes, boats, and more.
