Ali & Nino Statue

Two stunning iron sculptures designed by Georgian sculptor Tamara Kvesitadze. This huge model was designed to tell the story of two characters from an Austrian tragic novel, starring Ali, the Azerbaijani Muslim, who loved Nino, a Georgian princess, and their love story culminated in marriage despite the differences, but these differences returned shortly after their marriage, as Ali was forced to go to war, Nino waited many years for him to return, but he never came back. These two figures were designed from separate pieces of iron with spaces between them, and at seven o'clock every day the two figures move to overlap with each other, but despite their overlapping, the two figures do not tell a story of love and unity.
