Anak Krakatau Nature Reserve

This small reserve is famous for its charming nature and glowing lava, and it is supervised by the Natural Resources Protection Agency. It takes a long time to arrive as you have to take a rather long ride (1-2 hours) on a small boat to the island. You can do a number of activities, including climbing the volcano to a certain point (it is not possible to go to the top because of the smoke) and you can also take a dip in fresh water.
