Antoniades Palace
The Antoniadis Palace is located within the vast lands of the Antoniadis Gardens, and its name is due to its owner, the Greek Baron John Antoniades, who lived in Alexandria and was one of the most famous cotton merchants. In the year 1860, this baron entrusted the French artist Paul Richard with the development of the gardens of his palace to be a miniature copy of the Palace of Versailles and its gardens in Paris, and in the year 1918 the ownership of the palace was transferred to the municipality of Alexandria, in implementation of the will of its owner, who died in 1895. It is one of the most beautiful landmarks in Alexandria, so do not miss it Do yourself a chance to visit it!
