Art Pavilion in Zagreb
The idea of creating an art pavilion in Zagreb was first proposed by the Croatian painter Vlaho Bokovac in the spring of 1895. In 1896, artists from what was then the Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia were invited to the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Hungarian state. Presenting their most famous works of art in a pavilion built for this purpose. Among the exhibits, visitors will find sculptures, drawings, furniture, ceramics and much more.
