Description of the place
Located on the outskirts of Kassel and accessible all year round, the Artist's Cemetery is a cemetery, park and a great work of art located in a public park, with a hiking trail in Kassel. The cemetery was created by documentation artists who made a testamentary commitment during their lifetime to be buried there. With her, documentary artist Harry Kramer initiated a new form of art expression in the public space.
