Aslanhane Mosque
The Aslanhane Mosque is also known as the Aslanhan Mosque, due to the ancient lion statue embedded in the wall of the necropolis complex to the east of the mosque. It is a historical mosque that was built by the Ahi brothers at the beginning of the thirteenth century and was restored between the years (1289-1290) AD. The mosque is characterized by an architectural design that includes basalt columns and a decorated longitudinal minaret. The mosque has three entrances, one in the east, one in the west, and the other in the north. The interior of the mosque gives a good example of wooden Seljuk mosques from the thirteenth century.
