Aswan Botanical Garden
Aswan Botanical Garden
An oval-shaped island in the Nile in Aswan that was converted in the 1890s into a botanical garden, where exotic plants and trees were imported that fit the climate of Aswan. The botanical garden was built in 1899 AD under the supervision of the Ministry of Irrigation and turned into an experimental station for plants from the tropics in 1928 AD. Besides the native trees and plants in Aswan, there are many trees that were brought from abroad to be planted and used in the wood industry. The Ministry of Agriculture has also published experimental plants in the island's fruit crops to their approval. Do not hesitate and visit this amazing park with your family or friends.
