Ataturk And Redif Museum

The Ataturk Museum and Wardif building was built by Hassan Pasha, the governor of Izmit during the reign of Abdulaziz. It is a semi-stone building in the style of the military barracks and one of the military structures built for the reserve officers in the Ottoman period. It was used as a military court building until the 1999 earthquake, then it was It opened to visitors as a museum after a series of repairs, and it includes many exhibitions related to culture and ethnography.
