Located in Istanbul's Golden Horn, Aynalıkavak Palace is the fourth largest palace of the Ottoman Empire in Istanbul, which is also known as the Shipbuilding Palace due to the shipyard in the area. The palace was characterized by a unique architectural design that combines European and Eastern architecture in a distinctive mixture, with spacious shaded courtyards, ornate walls, domes, and green botanical gardens. Today, the palace is considered an archaeological tourist attraction for history lovers.
