Description of the place
The Baclayon Church was built of coral stones in the 1590s, and thus it is the second oldest stone church in the Philippines. It includes a museum dedicated to religious antiquities with statues, chandeliers, old pictures, etc., and is connected to a watchtower that provides a stunning view of the sea and the distant horizon. This church was severely damaged in 2013 AD, but it was restored to restore its beautiful architectural splendor.
