Bahrain Fort
Bahrain Fort is considered one of the most famous archaeological sites in Bahrain, and it is also known as the Portuguese Fort, because the Portuguese residents participated in its construction in addition to the Persians and the Greeks. It is believed that it was built in the year 2300 BC, up to the eighteenth century. It dates back to the Bronze and Copper Age, and accordingly it was classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005 AD.
