Balat Semti
The historic Jewish neighborhood of Balat is one of the oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods of Istanbul, and it has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Unlike anywhere else in Istanbul, the area is somewhat hidden behind the beaches of Eminonu along the picturesque Golden Horn, and perhaps the most famous part of it is the colorful wooden houses that are over 100 years old, and due to their popularity, many of these homes now house Distinctive cafes and restaurants, and it is worth noting that this neighborhood has recently received a lot of attention from tourists due to its association with the famous Al-Hafra series, in which many of its scenes were filmed. This neighborhood can be reached by using public transport buses No. 99, 99A, 99Y and 48E to Balat stop.
