Bamboo Island

Bamboo Island, known as Ko Bay in Thai, is a small island located in the far northeast of the Phi Phi Islands in Krabi Province, southern Thailand. It is an amazing tropical attraction that provides an ideal haven away from the tourist crowds. The island is about 600 meters wide and 700 meters long. It is somewhat like a heart, completely surrounded by a strip of white sand, and its central part is covered in lush vegetation including the casuarinas and bamboo trees that give it its name.
