Barage Asmir

The Esmir Dam is considered one of the largest dams in the northern region of Morocco, and it is located specifically to the southeast of the Al-Nakhla Dam, 5 kilometers west of the city of Al-Madiq. The main purpose of its construction was to supply water to the city of Tetouan, located 12 kilometers to the south. Today, the dam is considered one of the alternative natural tourist facilities that the city's residents visit to escape from the city's congestion.
