Barrage Vauban
The Vauban Dam contains a bridge, viaducts, a dam, and defensive works that were erected in the seventeenth century in the city of Strasbourg in France, as it was built from 1686 to 1690. At that time the place was known as the Great Lock, but today it is a gallery of sculptures that contains a wide balcony on its roof. The arches contain 13 arches 120 meters long, and inside the building a closed corridor connects the two banks. The roof was reconstructed in 1965-1966 in order to build the panoramic balcony. Do not miss visiting this beautiful historical landmark.
