Description of the place
The Basilica of San Juan de Dios is a Baroque church dedicated to the saint of Granada, San Juan de Dios. It is distinguished from the outside by the dome covered with white and green tiles. It was built between 1737 and 1759. The façade is also characterized by two towers with three ancient niches. It is compared to its interior design, which is full of golden decorations with ancient statues, in addition to paintings, wood carvings and other works of art.
