It was built between 1864 and 1868 according to plans by French architect Charles Lenormand, son of Louis Lenormand. It is the largest church in Nice and is inspired by the Angers Cathedral. The church has two square towers with a height of twenty-five meters, surmounted on both sides by a large rose window representing scenes of the Mystery of the Assumption. This cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral located on the rue Jean-Medicine in the center of Nice, and it is designed in the neo-Gothic architectural tradition, which is worth seeing.
