Description of the place
The Hindu temple of Batukaru Luhor is located in Tabanan on the southern slope of the Batukaru volcano, which is the second highest volcano in Bali. It was built in the eleventh century with the aim of protecting Bali from evil spirits. It includes many shrines and towers. Moss covers its structure. It is surrounded by vast forests, providing Great views for nature lovers, and includes attractions for Lake Tamblingan, Lake Bayonne, and Lake Beratan.
