Description of the place
Belfast Castle is located on the slopes of Cave Hill Park at an altitude of 400 feet, which gives it stunning panoramic views towards the city. The original castle was built in the twelfth century in the city center and was burned in 1708, and instead of being rebuilt on the same site, it was built on this site. The hill has a unique architectural style between the years 1811 and 1870, and the castle contains a visitor center, restaurants, antique shops, and a conference hall for private parties.
