Description of the place
Bentayga Rock is a rock formation on the island of Gran Canaria located in the volcanic crater caldera. It is the highest mountain peak on the island and is surrounded by cliffs. It includes a scenic hiking area, in addition to a visitor center and a museum. It is also considered an archaeological landmark because it contains a ritual place Mogarin, a sanctuary built by the indigenous people.
