Boljoon Parish Museum
This wonderful museum houses a rich collection of archaeological treasures that show the rich history of this southern city. Some of the antiquities and artifacts displayed in the museum date back about half a century. Apart from the liturgical materials used by priests and monks in the past, the museum houses some artifacts from the people who lived in the area even before the arrival of the Spanish. It also houses ancient records of the diocese dating back to the 17th century, including baptismal and death records. An old wooden image of Santo Tomas de Villanueva is also on display in the museum. This particular image is one of the three surviving original wooden statues of the saint in the country.
