Description of the place
Bordera Beach is located north of Carpatera, and is the closest beach to the village. It is a stunning sandy stretch of about 3 km in length, which includes a group of sand dunes and a small river that is a stopping point for migratory waterfowl. Surfing enthusiasts flock to this part of the Algarve in abundance. Where they are attracted by the strong winds that regularly hit this wonderful beach.
