Bridge of Peace

Surely an attraction one does not want to miss is the newly constructed Peace Bridge in Tbilisi, which is a pedestrian bridge, designed of solid glass in the shape of an arch, located over the Mtkvari River in the Georgian capital. The bridge is 156 meters long and has more than 10,000 built-in LED lights, which are turned on daily 90 minutes before sunset. It is a convenient crossing point between Rijk Park and the old part of the city. It also offers great views of Tbilisi, especially at sunrise or sunset. In 2012, the Peace Bridge was ranked among the 13 most unusual bridges in the world.
