British Airways i360

Undoubtedly one of the most impressive sights on the south coast of England, the British Airways i360 Observation Tower is a must-see on any trip to Brighton. Replacing Brighton's Wheel as the city's tallest structure (the wheel has since been dismantled) in 2016, the 531-foot tower rose to fanfare as the world's first vertical cable car and tallest moving observation tower. Resembling a huge needle (and referred to as a "vertical pier"), the structure's circular observation deck can lift up to 200 people 453 feet for a great view of the surrounding area and over the English Channel. Other features include a tea room and gift shop.
