Burmese (Three Balconies) Mosque
The Burmali Mosque, which dates back to the beginning of the fifteenth century, is a model of Ottoman architecture, as the main building of the mosque is surmounted by a huge and elevated dome and surrounded by minarets from its four directions. The mosque is also called the Mosque of the Three Balconies, the same name given to its highest minarets, which can be climbed through a separate staircase. Visitors to the mosque admire the Ottoman architecture and the Islamic motifs that adorn the walls and ceilings from the inside.
