Cal Magarasi

This cave is the second largest in the world and extends inside a mountain in the city of Trabzon. The cave includes a number of passages, the length of which is estimated at about 8 km from inside the cave. Visitors can walk for a distance of 1 km inside it, where there are stalagmites, rocky stalagmites, and beautiful and distinctive water pools that were formed over millions of years. Chal also has a natural ventilation system, and it is believed that the waters of the stream that flows from it contribute to the treatment of sinus infections and asthma. The cave attracts about 25 thousand tourists annually who are nature lovers, and those in charge of the cave seek to develop its facilities and corridors in order to accommodate more tourists in the future.
