Caravanserai Ekmekçizade

Khan Ahmed Pasha was associated with the activity and prosperity of the commercial movement in the city of Edirne, as it was intended to provide a safe place of residence for merchants traveling between the continents of Asia and Europe and between the various trade lines between Istanbul and the Balkan countries. The large area of the khan allows hosting large numbers of merchants with their goods and animals, as there are stables and places for animals.
