Carrickfergus Castle is one of the most beautiful sites dating back to the Middle Ages in Ireland. It is a stunning Norman castle located on the northern shore of Belfast Bay. It has a rich history. It was besieged by the Scots, Irish, English and French. It played an important military role until 1928, and it contains cannons of the century XVII, and many other monuments.
