Name of the place
Castell de Capdepera
Castell de Capdepera
Capdebra Castle was built during the fourteenth century on the remains of a Muslim village to be a fortress and a residence for the residents of the region due to the intensity of pirate attacks at that time, and in the eighteenth century it became a military complex until 1854 AD when it was abandoned, and it is currently managed by the Board of Trustees. Inside the palace there is a small museum with a miniature model of the fort, in addition to a church, which is still a site of worship to this day. Capdebra Castle is located on top of a mountain peak in the northeast of the island of Mallorca and enjoys a wonderful view of the inland fields, the coast and the Mallorca Channel.
